Hemp felt discs for the protection of plants, shrubs and trees. HempFlax Tree Discs are made from 100 per cent pure natural hemp fibre.

The processing of the raw fibre is done completely mechanically without any chemical agents. The strong fibres are carded and hardened. The result is a high-grade felt that is punched into round shapes.

By its very nature hemp fibre is both a great moisture absorber and an excellent insulation against heat or cold. HempFlax Tree Discs, if used when planting young trees, shrubs and plants, will discourage weed growth.

If it is hot the moisture regulating effect of HempFlax Tree Discs will benefit the plantings. If it is freezing the tree discs will protect the upper roots against frost. HempFlax Tree Discs are also used to protect patio plants from frost.

Contrary to conventional plastic materials HempFlax Tree Discs are porous and harmless to the environment. HempFlax Tree Discs compost completely so that the plantings benefit from the organic substances that are slowly released. Because of their natural colour the tree discs are inconspicuous.
